On March 5th, approximately from 6:00 AM until 4:00 PM PST, some TC IPA 5 merchants experienced increased error rates due to a Microsoft Azure issue upstream from TC IPA systems. Specifically, Microsoft performed unexpected maintenance that prevented proper front-end auto-scaling from fully accommodating normal business hours traffic. To correct the issue, Microsoft reversed the changes made during their maintenance.
